How to: Purple Velvet Nails

                                               Hey ladies!

I just got done doing my nails! I used the Sephora velvet manicure by Ciate'! It adds a unique touch! Its also calls out sophisticated! At first, I thought it would be weird to have velvet on my nails! Now that I have it on, I want to show everyone! It works AWESOME but it is messy! I suggest to always use a bowl or a paper towel to catch the extra velvet when you are applying it! I used a paper towel because this was my first time ever using the velvet manicure! Don't be scared to use a lot of the velvet, because at first I only used a little but you have to use a generous amount!

First I painted my nails with the purple nail polish you can see in the corner. ( I couldn't get a good steady picture of just the nail polish!) Then I used the velvet and shook it on every nail. You need to apply the velvet generously! It will not work if you don't put a lot on! Let it dry for about 5-10 minutes. Then use the small brush that they give you to CAREFULLY brush off the loose velvet powder.

This is the finished product! I thought this was actually really easy to do and it turned out pretty well! I will post a couple of links below where you can buy the velvet manicure set! Stay Tuned for more nails to come!
